Methi Paneer Bhurji

Methi Paneer Bhurji is an easy healthy and Yummy sabji. Paneer is usually liked by many and adding of methi makes it more healthier as well. Actually I was having methi and paneer since two days and was thinking how to use both at once, then I thought if preparing this dish. 


Paneer 1 cup
Methi Leaves 1/2 cup
Onion 1 medium finely chopped
Tomato 1 medium finely chopped
Green chili 1 slit
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Garam Masala powder 1 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Asafoetida 1 pinch
Cloves 2 piece
Cinnamon 1/2 inch


Pluck methi leaves , wash them under running water and chop them and keep ready aside.

Crumble or grate paneer in a plate and keep ready aside.

In a pan heat oil. Once it heats, cloves, cinnamon, cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chili and onion and saute until onions are translucent and done. 

Now add chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes are done. 

Add the masala's- turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and mix well and cook for a minute.

At this stage, add the methi leaves and cook until it wilt's and are cooked properly.

Now add the crumbled or grated paneer and salt and mix well and cook again for a minute.

Transfer to a serving bowl. 

Serve with roti / chapati...

Sweet Lassi

Sweet Lassi one of the refreshing drink during summers. Though here Monsoon has started, I had this lassi photos saved in my draft during summers, so posting it today. 

Curd 1 cup
Sugar 3 tbsp or as per preference
Ice Cubes 2

Milk as per needed consistency


In a bowl take curd. Add sugar and whisk until sugar dissolves.

Optional Step:
If the consistency is too thick, then add milk as per constistency needed. 

Now transfer to a serving glass.

Add Ice Cubes.

Serve Chill.
