Red Amarnath Leaves Ki Sabji

Red Amarnath Leaves ki sabji, is such a healthy leafy vegetable packed with Vitamins, Iron and Potassium. This sabji is very easy and simple to prepare, just the main point to be taken care is plucking the leaves and washing the leaves. Once done it is just an click to prepare the sabji.

Red Amarnath leaves 1 bunch
Garlic 2 cloves, smashed
Green Chili 1, chopped
Salt as per taste
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp

Chop the roots of amarnath leaves. Now pluck the leaves keeping the small stems of the leaves with it. 

Transfer the leaves to a colander and wash under running water until all dirt, mud and such particles are washed away.

Allow the water to get drained.

Now taking few leaves as a bunch, chop the leaves. Complete doing until the whole lot is chopped.

Lets prepare the sabji....
In a pan heat oil. Add garlic, green chili. Now add amarnath leaves, turmeric powder and salt and close the pan with a lid.

After a minute, open and mix well. Again close with lid and cook until the leaves are cooked - it takes almost 7- 8 minutes.

Now open and add red chili powder and close and cook for another 2 minutes.

Now our sabji is done. 

Serve with roti or chapati.

    1. Yes , it got in just limited season of time, and it is also known as laal bhaaji or laad math...
